It's hard to believe that  Bella is going to be three in just a couple weeks!

When the boys were growing up I thought time flew by way too fast and I would love to get that time back again....but with Bella I swear time has launched into hyper-speed!!

"W'het's do it!"  became Bella motto this week for her swimming lessons.  She decided "no cry..whet's do it!"... We are all hoping that she is beginning to realize that learning to swim is going to lead to LOTS of fun in the pool!  At least right now she is happy with cute stickers to put on her folder when she finishes each day's lesson!  It's the little things that count!   I think she has finally relaxed around Courtney.  She talks to her and smiles when she sees her..talks to her about her other "friends" that she is teaching to swim..she even said she wants to sing "Let it Go" to her!

A nice "quiet toes" moment!

We went for a stroll this week while she ate...ran into "two Shellwee's. Bellya hab two Shellwee's..Bellya hab Elsa Shellwee and Ariel Shellwee". She's right!  One Shelley is blonde and the other is a redhead! She talked about that all afternoon!

Bella's newest thing is re-enacting  a scene from "Brave".  She has me put her Merida bow over her shoulder. She then starts trying to do the dialogue between Merida and her mother, Eleanor, when they are confronting each other about her having to get married.  I have to play the mother's roll. She makes me take her bow and "throw" it into the fireplace and then she runs off "crying"! So funny!!  She then hollers at me from across the room .."okay, Grammy..you take bow out of fire now!".  If I'm able I will try to film it...it might be difficult since I have to act it out with her!!  She is so entertaining!! LOL

Father's Day

Father's Day is this Sunday.  Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's !!
Bella has a painting project that she finished up for her Daddy, Papa and Pappy!   I picked up some play money for her..she is always talking about things costing "Eight dollars"..so now she has lots of  "money".  She decided that she needed to put some in her Daddy's card.."because Daddy wuvs his Bellya so much!"  She set aside some for her Papa and Pappy, too!

Swimming lessons started this week and though she doesn't like them she does remember how to float on her back.  However...all she needs to see is one cloud in the sky and she states.."Rain coming. Bellya no swimming today!"  Suddenly rain and thunder are her friends because it will get her out of lessons!  She's a smart little cookie!!  We won't have additional lessons until Monday so she will get a break. She says she "wikes Curtney (Courtney) but Bellya no wike swim wessons!"  I'm hoping once she connects knowing how to swim and having fun together she will realize it is a good thing!

The kids and Bella are spending the night tonight..I love having them all here! (Just missing one!)

Shopping

Bella and I went shopping today. She needed a couple new bathing suits for her upcoming swimming lessons, and for summer in general.  She was so funny!! I'm sure the sales people all hate her...she kept re-arranging the clothes racks! But we had so much fun....she tried on several items...had to model them for me.  She is growing up so fast!!

We have watched "Sand Lot" twice in as many weeks. She loves that movie! She told me to close my eyes (always something to worry about when a 2 1/2 year old says it)..but I did...She had to re-enact the swimming pool lifeguard scene with me....planting a big kiss on me saying she saved me!  She just cracks me up sometimes!

I'm not too sure quite understood the "funny" mirror!
