The Big 60!

Our "cheese" picture!
Blink and you turn 30, blink and you turn 40, blink and suddenly I'm 60!! Where did the fifty's go?? Wow!
I can honestly say I am looking forward to my 60's!

I celebrated my birthday with family. I love them all so much! We were just sitting down to dinner and suddenly Bella broke out singing "Happy Birthday to Grammy!"..loved it!

Danny came to town to help me celebrate!  Bella has been glued to him!  She loves "MY Uncle DanDan!"...and don't even think that he belongs to anyone but her!
We had a picnic in the Jeep!
Showing off her chips and salsa!

My 60th birthday!

"Sayb'ed"

Well...Thursday was different!  Bella and I were loading everything into the trunk of my car for the ride to our house..clothes, shoes, socks, (she wanted to stay in her pajamas for the ride) shake-a-bootie vest, nebulizer, etc.   I put my phone, purse, camera, sweaters, etc., into the front seat..closed the door and got ready to open the passenger door to put Bella into the back seat...door was locked. Bella said..."Grammy car beep (then she made a "click" sound)!"  I hadn't noticed the locking indicator sounding, but she had. Sure enough..I think my camera pressed down hard enough on my purse, connected with the car key, locking the car.  We were stuck. Thank goodness I hadn't already gotten Bella into her car seat!! So there we were just standing and staring at my car with everything locked inside. (Note to self...don't say "well SH_T!!!!" around Bella.)

So now what!  The spare key was at home..we were at Bella's! Everyone was at work..we were stuck.  Do I know phone numbers? No!  But Jess's computer was available and I sent an SOS message on FaceBook to my sweet friend, Shelly!  THANK YOU, SHELLY!! To quote Bella.."Shelwy sayb'ed Grammy and Bellya!"  She came to our rescue.  Bella gave her big hugs and kisses and performed her "Let it Go" for her!
I can NOT tell you how thankful we were!

Today we picked up Bella's ceramics she had painted and we ended up painting a few more items.  She had so much fun.  We will be going back!  Of course this week "Frozen" arrived.  We've watched it over and over...I just love watching her reaction to it!
Watching "Frozen" (of course!)

Bella's vocabulary, phrases and comprehension never ceases to amaze me! We actually have complete conversations and discussion! She is so smart!  Today when she was playing in the bathtub she started singing to me..stopped mid-song and reached over to me..took my face in her hands and finished her song, singing and smiling at me
Just being Bella!
and added "Grammy I wuvs you so much!". Okay...tears fell..she smiled and said "Happy tears?"...well Yes!!!  Love that little girl so much!

Three Days of Fun!

My little "hippie".  We had such a great  three days!  We painted some items that we will get in about a week. Can't wait to see them!  Hung out at Mommy and Daddy's house and played outside in the dirt! Bella does love the dirt! But she always asks permission before getting dirty!

She ran around the driveway singing and enjoying the sun today. Lots of hugs!

Daddy's new shop is almost done and she loved running around inside testing out the echo!

Bella decided slices of cheese made great leg bandages! Silly goober..stuck them on her legs and walked around limping! Nothing is wrong with her legs..but she must have thought they needed cheese!

Doing our "mean" faces!

Love that silly little hippie!

Warm Weather

We are so tired of cold weather...any warm day is "jump for joy day"!  On those occasional warm, non-windy days we head outside.  It doesn't matter if it's only to wander around the yard and pick up a giant stick, or peeking into Daddy's new shop...Bella loves being outside (and I can't blame her!).

Bella has been singing ALL day. She picked out her flower-girl dress (from Jo's wedding) and decided it was "Let It Go" day. She sang, danced, twirled, ate lunch,
napped, played, and went out to dinner in her "Elsa dress". It was great!! Love that little performer so much!
